GLP-1 care, built for men
Weight loss built for
how men perform
Doctor-prescribed semaglutide and tirzepatide, designed around metabolic health and muscle preservation — not just the scale. Licensed providers, free shipping, no waiting rooms.
Why GLP-1 for men
More than a number on the scale
Men approach weight differently than the standard weight loss narrative assumes. The goal usually isn't just lighter — it's better metabolic health, more energy, better body composition, and performance that holds up over time. GLP-1 therapy addresses all of that at the root level: it restores appetite signaling, improves insulin sensitivity, and enables sustained fat loss in ways that calorie restriction alone can't reliably achieve.
The metabolic benefits go beyond weight. Visceral fat — the deep abdominal fat that tends to accumulate in men — is directly linked to lower testosterone, higher cardiovascular risk, and reduced energy. Losing 10–15% of body weight through a GLP-1 program reliably reduces visceral fat and the hormonal and metabolic consequences that come with it.
Targets visceral fat
GLP-1 therapy is particularly effective at reducing the deep abdominal fat that carries the highest metabolic and hormonal health risk for men.
Supports testosterone naturally
Weight loss from GLP-1 therapy reliably improves testosterone levels in men whose low T is driven by excess body fat — without hormone supplementation.
Built around muscle preservation
Your care plan includes protein targets and coaching designed to protect lean mass while you lose fat — because body composition matters more than the number on the scale.

Medication options
Semaglutide vs. tirzepatide
Both are GLP-1 medications prescribed for weight loss. Your provider will recommend which is right for you based on your health history and goals.
Option 1
Semaglutide
The active ingredient in Wegovy® and Ozempic®. Activates the GLP-1 receptor to reduce appetite and improve blood sugar regulation. Well-studied with a strong clinical track record.
- GLP-1 receptor agonist
- Avg. ~15% body weight loss in trials
- Weekly injection
- Longest real-world safety record
Brand name Wegovy® is FDA-approved for weight loss. Compounded semaglutide is prepared in FDA-registered facilities but is not FDA-approved.
Option 2
Higher avg. lossTirzepatide
The active ingredient in Zepbound® and Mounjaro®. Activates both GLP-1 and GIP receptors, producing stronger appetite suppression and greater average weight loss in clinical trials.
- Dual GLP-1 + GIP receptor agonist
- Avg. up to 22% body weight loss in trials
- Weekly injection
- Favorable body composition outcomes in trials
Brand name Zepbound® is FDA-approved for weight loss. Compounded tirzepatide is prepared in FDA-registered facilities but is not FDA-approved.
You don't need to decide before taking the quiz. Your provider will recommend the right option based on your health profile.

Will I lose muscle mass on a GLP-1 medication? +
Some muscle loss is possible on any significant calorie deficit, including with GLP-1 therapy. The best way to preserve muscle is to prioritize protein intake (your care coach will give you specific targets) and maintain resistance training if you're able. Tirzepatide in particular has shown favorable body composition outcomes in trials, with a higher proportion of fat loss relative to lean mass compared to some other approaches.
Will GLP-1 medications affect my testosterone levels? +
GLP-1 medications do not directly suppress testosterone. In fact, research suggests that meaningful weight loss — which GLP-1 medications reliably produce — often leads to natural improvements in testosterone levels, since excess body fat (particularly visceral fat) is associated with lower testosterone. If you have concerns about testosterone, discuss them with your provider during intake.
How fast do men typically see results? +
Most men notice reduced appetite within the first 1–2 weeks of starting a GLP-1 medication. Meaningful weight loss is typically visible by weeks 4–6. In clinical trials, men on tirzepatide lost an average of 18–20% of body weight over 72 weeks. Results depend on your starting weight, medication dose, adherence, and lifestyle factors including protein intake and activity level.
Can I take GLP-1 medications if I work out regularly? +
Yes, and staying active is encouraged. Men who maintain resistance training while on GLP-1 therapy tend to preserve more muscle mass and see better body composition outcomes. Your care team will provide guidance on protein intake and timing to support your training. If you experience nausea early in treatment, your provider can adjust your titration schedule to minimize it.
What's the connection between weight loss and men's hormone health? +
Excess body fat — especially visceral (belly) fat — is directly linked to lower testosterone, higher estrogen conversion, and reduced energy and libido in men. Losing 10–15% of body weight through a GLP-1 program has been shown to produce meaningful improvements in testosterone levels and related symptoms in many men. We'll be launching a dedicated Men's Health & Hormone Care program in October 2026 for men who want more comprehensive hormone support.
